       This Chaplet was first approved by a decree of Pius VII dated January 22, 1822. It is a chaplet honoring the Five Holy Wounds of Christ! Chaplet can have medals also.

1) First Meditation: Wound on Left Foot of Our Lord

Glory be… (5 times on first group of five beads)
One Hail Mary in honor of Our Lady of Sorrows

2) Second Meditation: Wound on Right Foot of Our Lord

Glory be… (5 times on second group of five beads)
One Hail Mary in honor of Our Lady of Sorrows

3) Third Meditation: Wound on Left Hand of Our Lord

Glory be… (5 times on third group of five beads)

4) Fourth Meditation: Wound on Right Hand of Our Lord
